My love of textiles started when I was very young. I learned to sew in Home Economics in middle school and continued to teach myself as I got older. After college, when I had my own home, I would buy furniture and upscale it, usually every time I moved! The first chair that I bought when I was out on my own has been recovered 7 times! This DIY mentality has continued throughout my entire life and a few years ago, I was asked to make patio cushions for a friend. The job included 32 seat cushions and backs and about 20 pillows. Once others heard about this job, I was asked to redo this chair or that chair for friends. And voilá! My business was born. The design process and the problem-solving process are my two favorite parts of my business.
